About the Southampton City Parkinson’s Disease Network

This network aims to bring together people with Parkinson’s disease and their families with people working in the NHS and Social Services. It aims to do this through the forums on this website, Seminars/workshops for staff, Interest groups, the Southampton City Parkinson’s disease network meetings and the Parkinson’s exercise and education group.

The network also aims to enable all people with Parkinson’s disease to access appropriate and up to date information about the condition along with finding out about services that may help.

In addition the network provides a link to those people who are not ready to “go public” about their diagnosis just yet but they still want to know more.

The network also provides a means for offering people with Parkinson’s disease and their families a point of contact through the website forum and the links to Vicky Queen, Parkinson’s Disease Nurse Specialist.
